Following changes in the Companies Act 2006 it is no longer a statutory requirement for private companies to hold an annual general meeting, unless the company opts to do so. We are able to advise further on this new legislation if requested.
Other changes include making it easier to set up a new company, changes to company articles for new companies and earlier dates for filing accounts.
